🌍 Ripple of Change – Second Edition Global Art Call

 Concurrent with UNGA 80 ( United Nations General Assembly)

General application
Add Your Ripple – (only) Kids & Youth application

Deadline Human RIGHTS DAY- December 10th, 2025, 12am est

Introduction & Collaborations

 We are honored to announce the Second Edition of Ripple of Change, presented in collaboration with the UN Civil Society Arts & Culture Impact Coalition (Arts For the Future Festival)  and developed in partnership with OUR BLOOD IS THE SAME COLOR (OBITSC) Organization.

 This global initiative is dedicated to fostering unity and humanity, using art as a magnifier to illuminate the values and challenges embodied in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (learn more here:https://sdgs.un.org/goals Through collaboration with UN civil society and cultural networks, Ripple of Change establishes itself not only as an exhibition, but as a global movement uniting voices across regions, generations, and mediums.

Kids and Youth voice;

 For the first time, Ripple of Change opens a dedicated Kids & Young Voices section. Children and youth view the world through the essence of our shared humanity — before they are ever exposed to divisive ideas. For them, empathy, unity, justice, and peace are not abstract concepts but the very nature of being human. Our role as leaders and changemakers is to give them space to share this untouched vision, to learn from their creativity, and to let their perspectives inspire us to build a more compassionate and sustainable future. By honoring their voices with a platform of their own, Ripple of Change affirms that the youngest among us hold a power to remind the world of who we truly are, and what we can still become.

  Their submissions will be reviewed through a dedicated process, with criteria and mediums designed specifically to make participation accessible and meaningful for young creators. Instead of restricting them to traditional categories, children and youth are invited to share their imagination through simple drawings, writings, photography, or storytelling. For full details on the Kids & Young Voices section and how to apply, please click here :https://ourbloodisthesamecolor.org/young-voices

Context: United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)

Every year in September, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) convenes in New York City. Leaders from across the globe — heads of state, cultural and social visionaries, business innovators, policymakers, diplomats, and change-makers — gather to confront the world’s most urgent challenges. It is a stage where humanity’s future is debated and shaped.

Ripple of Change – Second Edition is timed concurrently with UNGA 80, to ensure that art is not only present but actively resonant within this historic global dialogue. The aim is to position artists alongside world leaders — giving them a symbolic and visible seat at the table of change-making conversations.

Here, art is not treated as static representation but as an active force of advocacy and imagination: a magnifier of humanity’s struggles and hopes, a catalyst for peace, justice and equity, and a creative voice that insists on being heard at the highest levels of global governance.
